Where notes and logs live now

Notes, Notepad and the Jot inbox are one door. Deck Logbook, Telemetry History and Anchorage History are one door. Here is what moved and what did not.

Writing something down is one habit, so it is one door: the menu (☰) → Vessel & ops → Notes opens a page with three tabs across the top — Notepad, Older notes and Jot inbox. Looking something up in the ship's records is one habit too: the menu (☰) → Operational records → Logs opens Logbook, Tracks, Telemetry and Anchorages under one control. Nothing was deleted or merged — every list, every entry and every export is exactly where its tab now sits.

Steps

  1. Notes — one door, three views

Menu (☰) → Vessel & ops → Notes. The page opens on Notepad, the notes you can write and edit. The Older notes tab is the read-only list of operational notes that used to be its own row. The Jot inbox tab is the same inbox the Jot row at the top of the menu opens — review it here, capture from there.

  2. Logs — one door, four views

Menu (☰) → Operational records → Logs. Logbook is the first tab, with New entry and Export PDF in its … menu exactly as before. Tracks is where the boat has been — every leg that ended and every recorded track; crew see the tracks of trips they were on and the tracks they recorded themselves. Telemetry is every saved snapshot. Anchorages is every place you have dropped the hook — owner, management and captain only, so crew see three tabs.

  3. The Jot row stayed

The Jot row at the very top of the menu (☰) is the capture door — it opens the inbox with New ready to tap. It is not a duplicate of the Notes hub: one is for writing something down fast, the other for reading it back.

  4. Old links still work

Help articles, search results and anything that pointed at Notepad, Notes, Deck Logbook, Telemetry History or Anchorage History still land in the right place — the hub opens with that tab selected.

  5. Or just search for it

Type 'notes', 'logbook', 'telemetry' or 'anchorage' into the search box — the magnifier, top right of any screen — and the door is the first result.
