Become a Founding Captain.

Founding Captains get early access to theONE before public launch and a direct line to the team. In return we ask for honest feedback from real trips — including the ones where the signal disappears.

Who it is for

theONE is captain-grade, for power vessels 40 feet and up — and the founding list is for the people who run them: the captain at the helm, or the owner who runs their own boat.

It replaces a dozen apps, spreadsheets and group texts with a single iOS app — telemetry (NMEA 2000 ready), crew, planning, playbooks and maintenance — and it is offline-first, built for the moment the signal dies. If you would like to see it properly before you ask for a spot, start here:

All features →Every feature, in depth, a page each. Foresight™ →Memory, not magic — and where it is quiet. Offline-first →What it actually means, and where the edges are.

What Founding Captains get

What we ask in return

Honest feedback from real trips — including the ones where the signal disappears. Use it the way you actually run the boat, and tell us where it helped, where it got in the way, and where it was wrong.

What happens when you ask

You type your email address and press Request Access. That is the whole form — no name, no boat details, no password.

The request is recorded: the address you entered, the date and time you sent it, and the user-agent string your browser sends with the request. That record is kept in private storage at Vercel, our web host. It is not public and it is not indexed.

The page that comes back tells you how it went: you are on the list, you were on it already, or the address needs another look — or, if we could not take the request just then, the address to email instead. Asking twice does no harm — the same address is only ever recorded once. If the founding list has closed by the time you ask, that page says so.

The form sends you no email, automatic or otherwise; the page you see after pressing the button is the confirmation. After that, a person at JEMS Marine will be in touch about Founding Captain access.

Your address

We use it for one thing: to contact you about Founding Captain access to theONE. We do not sell it, and we pass it to no one beyond the services that store and deliver it for us. Asking for a spot sets no cookie and stores nothing in your browser.

The full account — what is kept, where, and who handles it — is in section 8 of our Privacy Policy.

Coming off the list

Email ops@jems-marine.com and ask to be removed, and we will delete the record. You can ask us what we hold first, if you would rather; section 10 of the Privacy Policy covers both.
