Where each feature lives in the tab bar

Five tabs at the bottom, one menu (☰) top-left. Here's exactly which door opens which feature so you don't have to hunt.

theONE has five tabs: Mission Control · Playbook · Chart · Maintenance · Stowage. Mission Control is home. Fleet is not a tab any more — it opens from the vessel name under the Mission Control title. Everything else that isn't on a tab lives in the top-left menu (☰), available from every tab.

Search is the magnifier in the top right — the same corner on every tab. A vendor account is the exception: its bar is Mission Control, Observations and More, and the More tab carries no magnifier. It opens one box that goes anywhere: a screen, a record, or a question. On Maintenance it shares the row with that tab's own tools, so Ask moves into the ••• beside it.

Steps

  1. Mission Control — home

The dashboard. The vessel name with a chevron sits right under the title — tap it to open Fleet (switch or add a vessel). Then the briefing pill, the Work List and Stale Hours pills, Assigned to You, Crew Aboard, the TODAY chip, the Hero widget, Readiness, the telemetry tiles (Anchor Watch chip at the top of that widget), Upcoming Trips, and the activity and inventory widgets. The TODAY card — your phase-aware checklist — lives here too.

  2. Playbook

Your runbooks. A grid of playbook cards — pre-departure, anchoring, storm prep, whatever you've built. Run one and it walks you through the steps.

  3. Chart

The chart. Your position, NOAA charts, layers (GPS, channel markers, weather radar), saved routes and route planning, mid-trip reroute, and leg replay.

  4. Maintenance

Observations, issues, and service. Everything logged, grouped and filterable, plus what's approaching, due, and overdue.

  5. Stowage — inventory

The Inventory hub: Stowed items (locations and items, including spares), Supplies, and Tenders & Toys.

  6. Menu (☰) — everything else

Top-left on any tab: Jot at the top, then the User Role picker (Mission Control only), Calendar, Ship's Directory, Foresight, the Sync status row, Quick Access on Mission Control (Fleet, Trace Watchlist), capture verbs (Log Incident, Scan Document), and the Navigation accordion (Vessel & ops · Operational records · Safety · Help & settings) — Vessel Briefing, Trips, Chart (jumps to the Chart tab), Notes (Notepad · Older notes · Jot inbox), Maintenance Log, Fuel Log, Expense Report, Logs (Logbook · Tracks · Telemetry · Anchorages), Documents, Manuals, Vessel Handbook, Owner Week Digest, MOB History, Help Center, Take the tour, Copy Diagnostics, Archive, and Settings.

Each screen the menu opens comes up over the tab you were on with Done in its top bar (Archive and Sync notices draw their own close); a swipe down closes it too.

  7. Fleet — under the Mission Control title

Your vessels. One boat or several — tap the vessel name under the Mission Control title (or menu (☰) → Quick Access → Fleet, or type 'fleet' in the search box). Switch the active vessel, add a new one with +, or read the cross-vessel briefing. Close returns you to where you were.
