Service due soon — what the countdown means
Understand how theONE counts down to a service item's next due point.
Every service item has an interval — engine hours, calendar days, or both. theONE counts from the last completion to the next due point.
Service items appear in the Maintenance tab under Work orders, overdue first, then due soon, then the rest by date. Two switches on that tab narrow the list: Tenders & Toys and Consumables only.
Hour-based intervals need engine hours to be logged. There is no source setting — each reading is tagged with where it came from as it is recorded: typed by hand, taken from an NMEA bridge, read off a photo of the hour meter, committed at End Trip, or logged from a vendor's service record. The Hour-Meter Alerts settings view configures the warning offset for hour-based items.
