Saved routes — find, rename, reverse, delete
Browse, rename, reverse, or delete a route you've already built.
Every route you build is saved into the route library. Open the Routes panel from the chart: chips along the top sort the routes by how they are used — Favorites, Current (on a leg underway or paused), Scheduled, Past (on a leg that has ended) and Saved (on no leg), which it opens on — with the most recently changed at the top.
Per-route actions: rename, reverse (flips the saved route in place), and delete. Deletion shows a toast with an undo option.
An empty library row reads "No saved routes yet" — build a route in the editor to add one.
Steps
-
Open the Routes panel
Open the Chart tab and tap Routes in its toolbar. The list opens on Saved, the most recently changed route at the top.
-
Open a route
Tap a route — anywhere but its name, which renames it — to load it onto the chart, where you can edit it. There is no route detail screen and no planned speed: the row itself shows the waypoint count and, from two waypoints on, the total distance.
-
Rename, reverse, or delete
Tap the route's name to rename it where it stands. The ☰ button on the row holds Reverse, Reorder, Re-check against current charts and Share; press and hold a row for the same Share options. Swipe a row left for Delete: it asks first, then shows a toast with an undo, and the undo brings the route back on your other phones too.
-
Reversing flips it in place
Reverse flips the same route in place — the waypoints run the other way and the route keeps its library slot and its leg binding. No copy is made; a "Route reversed" toast confirms it, and tapping Reverse again puts the route back the way it was built.
