Insurance export — your maintenance record as one PDF for your underwriter

Generate one PDF of the vessel's maintenance record for your underwriter at renewal.

When renewal comes around, insurers want to see how the boat has been looked after. The Insurance Export renders one PDF of the vessel's maintenance record — the schedule, logged completions, vendor sign-offs and the maintenance activity trail. It is text only: no photos, no survey and no attached documents, and there is no date range to set. For a claim about one incident — the grounding, the strike, the shaft — build a Claim packet instead: one PDF about that record alone, with its timeline, photos, conditions, costs and linked documents, from the incident's Claim packet card or the button on Documents.

Steps

  1. Open Insurance Export

Menu (☰) → Settings → Vessel Setup → Onboarding audit. The Insurance Export action lives on that screen.

  2. No date range

There is no date window to set and no options screen before rendering. The export always covers the whole record on the boat.

  3. The four sections

Nothing is selectable. The PDF always carries the same four sections: 1. Maintenance schedule — every item not archived, overdue first; 2. Recent executions — items with a logged completion date, newest first; 3. Vendor sign-offs — work that has been signed off, with who certified it and when; 4. Maintenance communications log — maintenance activity entries, oldest first.

  4. Generate and share

Open the ⋯ menu in the top right of Onboarding audit and tap Export insurance PDF. theONE renders the PDF and opens the iOS share sheet — email it, save to Files, or AirDrop. The ⋯ menu is offered to the owner, the captain and the manager only: the PDF is the boat's whole maintenance record.
