Crew allergies & dietary notes — on the trip, at a glance
Record allergies, dietary restrictions and medical notes on crew cards. The owner, captain and manager see them on every card; each person sees their own; other crew do not.
Every crew card has an Allergies / Dietary / Medical section, and on a trip's detail page the crew section shows an allergy strip for the people aboard, so whoever plans the food has the truth, not a treasure hunt. Tap a name on the strip to open the full card.
Who sees it: the owner, the captain and the manager see every crew and guest card, allergies, dietary and medical notes included. Each person sees their own card, and can edit it: Settings → Account → My card. Other crew do not see anyone else's card. On a signed-in boat a crew member's phone receives no one else's card, so there the strip carries nobody else's allergies — if the cook is crew, tell them what they need to know. On a boat that is not signed in there is one phone, and the strip shows every card on it.
Steps
-
Record it once
Crew Book → open a card → Allergies / Dietary / Medical. The owner, captain and manager see all three fields on every card; anyone else sees them on their own card only, Medical notes included. Write it plainly: 'anaphylactic — peanuts, carries EpiPen in day bag.'
-
See it on the trip
Open the trip → crew section. Everyone aboard with allergies on their card shows in the strip on the owner's, captain's or manager's phone. On a signed-in boat a crew member's phone shows only their own.
