Shore power and the generator — what theONE tracks
Track shore power state and generator hours by hand. theONE does not read AC power from the boat's network, and no version date is promised for it.
Shore power and generator readings are entered by hand — theONE does not read AC data off the boat's network. A bridge does not change that: shore power volts and amps are never read from the network, only typed in.
Generator hours run on their own counter, separate from the main engines, so generator service intervals stay accurate.
Steps
-
Track shore power today
Tap the Shore power tile on Mission Control's telemetry strip to open its page, then tap Update reading to record connected or disconnected and the reading you see at the panel. Update reading is there while Manual is the telemetry source.
-
Log generator hours
Open the Generator system under the menu (☰) → Settings → Vessel Setup → Generators to view and update hours, or use the hours quick-log.
-
Log generator service against generator hours
Log service completions against the generator's own hour counter so intervals stay honest.
-
Not in theONE: live AC readings
theONE does not read AC source readings from a gateway on the NMEA 2000 network, and no version is promised for it. Nothing on the Shore Power tile comes from the boat's network.
