Running-low forecasts — from your real usage
See roughly when a supply runs out, computed from how fast you've actually been using it.
When an item has enough real history, its detail page shows a line like '≈ runs out <date> · using 0.4/day', and the Supplies Needed lane rolls up the three items projected to run out soonest. The math is your own event ledger — every 'used' you've logged — projected forward. No history, no number: theONE needs at least two logged uses inside the last 90 days before it will put a date on anything, because one data point is an anecdote, not a rate. It then spreads that use over at least seven days when it works out the daily rate, so an afternoon of heavy use does not project the locker empty by Tuesday.
Steps
-
Log usage as it happens
Use the item's quantity controls when you take stock down — each change lands in the item's event history, and the forecast sharpens as the history grows.
-
Read the rollup
Supplies → Needed lane. If anything is projected to run out within three weeks, the 'runs out ≈' card lists the top three, soonest first. Tap a row to open the item.
